Have you ever wondered how it is that we pay more in America than any other country in the world for health care, but a very high percentage of us are overweight and obese, and suffer from cancer, heart disease, diabetes, depression and more? In fact, Americans are among the most diseased people in the world, in spite of our “health” care system. Did you ever wonder if this so-called health care system is really a sick care system?
Did you realize that most of our “health” care consists of treating diseases with synthetic drugs, radiation and surgery? Even so-called preventative care is not really that, it’s really an early disease detection program, and once you have a disease, it is essentially treated with drugs or surgery. Now, I am not disagreeing that drugs and surgery have a place in today’s world, and can at times save lives, but in general, the drugs and surgery are not making us healthier! Drugs poison and shut down metabolic pathways in your body and add to the toxic overload we are all exposed to. In addition, drugs usually treat only symptoms, not the root cause of illness. Surgery often cuts out the diseased or malfunctioning part or organ, but it does not fix the problem either!
It is unfortunate that many today push mainstream medicine as the only system that works, when in fact it is really NOT making us any healthier. Mainstream healthcare wants to treat all our illnesses as deficiency of a certain medication. But think about it, if drugs really were the answer, then why do many Americans have to keep taking them?
Maybe we need to look at nutritional deficiencies, chronic infections and toxic overload as the real causes of disease, and work on that instead or at least in conjunction with conventional medicine.
