We offer 3 types of under counter water filters:
- The UC-200 Model, which does NOT have filters that need to be replaced.
- The UC-101 Model, which is for everyday use.
- The UC-2K Model, which can filter Fluoride or Nitrates, depending on which you choose.

Pick the UC-200 if you have standard city tap water, and do not want to have to replace your filter. The UC-200 also has the best flow rate, 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm), instead of 1.0 gpm for the other under counter models. Pick the UC-101 Model if you don’t mind replacing the filter, and want to spend less up front. If you want to filter out Fluoride, or Nitrates, pick one of the UC-2K Models.

The Nitrate Filter is an ideal filter to deal with nitrates in your water. This is typically used in rural areas whereground water is contaminated by fertilizers. A proper water test should be conducted to find out if nitrates are a problem for you.
The Fluoride Filter takes care of that toxic substance that is added to many municipal water systems - Fluoride. This substance was banned years ago as a pesticidebecause it was too toxic.

The Undercounter, Countertop and Whole house CuZn® copper-zinc (KDF) water filters we sell here at EcoViva are combined with large amounts of coconut shell carbon and are a very effective filtering media. They are certified under NSF Standards 42 and 61 and approved by the U.S. EPA for use in potable drinking water systems. Toxins like Chlorine, Asbestos, Lead, and Pesticides are significantly reduced (by up to 99.9%, depending on the substance).

Now, fluoride is added to our water under the premise that it is good for our teeth, even though many studies have shown that this is not true. Other countries in Europe, for example, have stopped fluoridating their water because they decided, based on the evidence, that this was not a good idea! If your water is fluoridated, and you want to eliminate it, get the Fluoride Filter with the UC-2K Model.
