Liver is a also a good source of B vitamins and chromium, as are whole grains and nuts. Vitamin C can be found in citrus fruits, peppers, green vegetables, chlorella But it’s also important to stop eating processed foods as much as possible - these are loaded with chemicals like MSG, vegetable oils and other toxins that can cause you to stop your weight loss or even to gain weight.

Coconut Oil Made Them Lean!
Weight Loss Tips - #2: Did you know that farmers used to feed their animals vegetable oils because it worked so well to fatten their animals up? But eventually they discontinued this practice because it gave their animals various health problems including cancer. Then they tried coconut oil, but it made their animals too lean! (They make more money the more their animals weigh at slaughter).
We know know that coconut oil and the medium chain fatty acids like lauric acid that are high in coconut oil help to boost the metabolism, which can in turn help you with your weight loss goals. but it is very important that you use coconut oil that is NOT hydryogenated. Weight Loss Tips - #5: Blood Sugar &/or Insulin Problems May Make it Very Difficult to Lose Weight
Weight Loss Tips - #5: Also, many people today have problems processing sugar, and even if they are not yet diabetic, and this causes them to have a hard time succeeding with their weight loss plans. Even before you get diagnosed with high blood sugar, such as with pre-diabetes or diabetes, many, many people in America today have high levels of insulin. These people tend to put the weight on around their abdomen, and this is a clue to perhaps having blood sugar / insulin problems that should be taken care of now rather than later. If you tend to gain weight around your midsection, and are having a hard time with weight loss, and your blood sugar levels are OK, then ask your doctor to test your insulin levels.
Often, the first thing that happens when you have problems with getting rid of the sugar in your blood is that you become “insulin-resistant” and your body produces more insulin. This high level of insulin may help you to metabolize the sugar, but it causes problems in your body due to the inflammation. It can take a long time, even decades, for the problem to progress to the point where you actually have type II diabetes. This is when your body can no longer produce more insulin, then the sugar becomes elevated in the blood as well as the insulin, but by then, you have already had a problem for a long time, and have probably been struggling with weight loss issues for a long time as well!
If you are someone with elevated blood sugar or elevated insulin levels, then trace minerals like chromium and vanadium have been shown to be especially important, along with Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin D, and the B & C Vitamins. Also, exercise and diet are extremely important for you. If you are physically able, and have the OK of your physician, try to work your way up to exercising at least 45 minutes 5 days per week, and do not take more than 1 day off per week. Exercise helps to drive the sugar into the cells, and can help give you more energy as well as help with your weight loss.
You also need to cut way back on the carbohydrates you eat if you want to succeed with your weight loss. Dr. Schwartzbein recommends no more than 60 grams per day, unless you are exercising a lot. This is 15 grams at each of 3 meals, as well as 7.5 grams at each of 2 snacks. Eating 3 meals a day plus 2 small snack will also help boost your metabolism and hence your weight loss. 15 grams is not a lot, like 1 slice of bread or 1/3 cup of brown rice. Whole grains are the best if you are cutting back on carbs, as they have the full complement of vitamins and minerals that are missing from the white flour products, and once again, some of these nutrients can really help you boost your weight loss.
